Ironman 70.3 UK Exmoor

Triathlon Serie:

Held in Exmoor National Park, one of the most picturesque areas of England, Wimbleball Lake has been host to IRONMAN 70.3 UK since 2006. The race considered by Faris Al-Sultan to be "the most amazing, scenic venue he'd experienced" and the one another Kona champion, Chris McCormack, considers "the toughest on the circuit" has just 60 spots remaining.

"I still think our event is a well kept secret to many international competitors," says event organizer Ali Boone, who encourages international entrants to enter quickly if they'd like to take on the challenging Ironman 70.3 UK event, which will take place in beautiful Wimbleball next June 19th.

As picturesque as the race site is, it is a tough one. Al-Sultan, who finished fourth at the event in 2010, says "this is a race that you cannot fake. It is a race that needs respect and needs to be approached with good preparation as it is a tough one.
