Cannes Triathlon

Middle Distance - 2 km swim. The swimmers will leave from the west cove of “Bijou Plage” in front of the Palm Beach, and will complete a 1000m loop. The swimmers will exit, run a few metres and then complete a second loop. They will exit via the east cove, go up the steps (10 steps) and enter the bike park. Bike 80 km. Once they have gone past the Palm Beach, the cyclists will leave Cannes heading towards Golfe Juan. After 4km they will tackle the first climb, which will take at Helio Marin Center at kilometre 10. They will go towards Mougins, crossing the Valmasque and Sophia Antipolis. From kilometre 20 to Grasse, the road will be a simple, fast uphill that is easy-to-cycle. The second big climb on the programme covers 10km until the highest point of the race at Saint Vallier de Thiey. The descent towards Cannes will take the cyclists through Cabris, Mouans-Sartoux, Mougins and Le Cannet, finishing back at the Palm Beach bike park. Run 16 km. The run course will cover the south section of the Boulevard de la Croisette, between the Palm Beach and the Noga Hilton. The loop measures 4km. All the runners will run on the southern path of the boulevard. 4 loops for the L triathlon and 2 loops for the M triathlon.
