2024 European Championships Vichy

Vichy has been selected to host the European Triathlon Championships in 2024. This sporting event, one of the most important in the new Olympic cycle after the Paris 2024 Games, will enable elite triathletes to score points in the world rankings.

For many years now, Vichy has been involved in the organisation of a wide range of sports events, and for over 30 years has built up a wealth of experience in hosting major events.

21 September 2024: each triathlete completing a 750 m swim, 20 km bike ride and 5 km run. The entire sprint event is open to anyone with a competitive triathlon licence born in 2008 and before, i.e. from the age of 16-19. Drafting on bike.

21st september : each triathlete will complete a 1500 m swim, 40 km bike ride and 10 km run. The entire event is open to anyone born in 2006 or earlier, i.e. aged 18-19 and over. drafting on bike.

22 September 2024: each paratriathlete completing a 750 m swim, 20 km bike ride and 5 km run. 

22 September 2024: each elite triathlete will complete a 1500 m swim, 40 km bike ride and 10 km run. The entire event is open to anyone born in 2006 or earlier, i.e. aged 18-19 and over. drafting on bike.
