The Ironman China and Ironman 70.3 China swim course is held in a huge reservoir, which supplies clean drinking water for the Jixian City residents. It is only 5 mins drive from the major hotels. The course will consist of two loops of 1.9 kilometers / 1.2 miles.
The bike course will feature two loops of 90 kilometers/ 56 miles on the concrete roads circumnavigating the reservoir with most plenty of shade by trees along the way. It’s a considerably flat course, however in the final 3 kilometers / 1.8 miles before the transition area and with a section at around the 10 kilometer / 6 mile market, there will be a few technical turns. The bike course will pass through a number of villages, so athletes can expect some enthusiastic support from the local community on race day.
The run course will be primarily in the downtown of Jixian City with wide and flat roads along the way and finish at the center of the town.
