CHALLENGE GUNSAN-SAEMANGEUM starts with two swim laps of 3.8 kilometers from Bieung beach. After 3.8km swim, come out from the water and cross the road where fully controlled traffic to access the transition zone (T1), approximately 500 meters away from the starter. The bike course is set on The world’s longest 33.9km-long Saemangeum seawall with Eco-environment. The safety width of roads with smooth surfaces and fully controlled by police and volunteers all around the course will bring you spectacular scenic and wonderful experiences. After 180km bike, you can access easily the transition zone (T1) again. The running course, From the T1, is to follow the nature-friendly industrial facilities built on reclaimed land created by reclaiming the sea. After two laps, you will enter to the transition area, where the finish arch is located.
